Privacy Policy

for the apps DOPAMIN, Nova Jump and Nova Defence · Last updated: 5 November 2026

1. Controller

The controller within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is:

Berke Yıldırım
Graf-Wilhelm-Straße 28
89613 Oberstadion
Germany
Email: support@berkeyildirim.net

No data protection officer has been appointed, as the legal requirements (Art. 37 GDPR, Sec. 38 German Federal Data Protection Act) are not met.

2. Overview

DOPAMIN, Nova Jump and Nova Defence are offline games. There is no user account, no server of our own and no analytics or tracking software of our own. We, the provider, receive no personal data through the apps.

Data leaves your device in only the following cases:

3. Storage on your device (game progress and settings)

Each app stores your game progress and settings in your device's local storage. What exactly is stored is listed per game in section 10. For daily features, the apps read your device's local time.

The apps also store the age you enter on first launch, only on your device (section 4).

This information is processed only on your device and is not transmitted to us or to third parties. Storing it is strictly necessary to provide the service you have expressly requested (the game with your progress and settings) and is therefore permitted without consent under Sec. 25(2) no. 2 of the German TDDDG (implementing Art. 5(3) ePrivacy Directive). To the extent personal data is involved, the legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.

Exception: on iPhone and iPad, all three games can also keep a copy of your progress in your own iCloud account (Apple's iCloud Key-Value Store) if iCloud sync is on in the game's settings; it is on by default and can be switched off at any time. We cannot access this copy (section 10).

Retention: until you delete the app or delete your progress in the app's settings. Depending on your device settings, this data may be included in your personal iCloud or Android backup; you control this in your device settings.

4. Advertising with Google AdMob, your age and consent (UMP, ATT)

The apps are funded by advertising. We use Google AdMob, a service of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (“Google”).

Ads appear in two forms: interstitial ads between runs, and rewarded ads, which are shown only when you choose to watch one in exchange for a fixed in-game reward (for example continuing a run, extra credits or coins, a start bonus or a daily pack). A daily limit applies to rewarded ads. “No Ads” removes both and grants the rewards without an ad (section 10).

Children's safety matters to us. Players under 16 never see personalised ads.

Your age

On first launch each game asks for your age once; no answer is preselected. Your age is stored only on your device. It is not sent to us or to Google; Google only receives the age flags described below. Your age is used only to configure advertising and is deleted when you delete your data in the app (section 10) or delete the app.

Players under 16

Ads are never personalised. Every ad request tells Google that you are under the age of consent (“tag for under age of consent”); for players under 13 the requests are also marked as directed at children (“tag for child-directed treatment”). You are not shown a consent form and, on iOS, not asked for tracking permission. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland only so-called limited ads are shown: according to Google, they use no personal data for ad selection and no device identifiers for advertising; Google may still use local storage on your device to detect invalid traffic.

Players aged 16 and older

In the EEA, the United Kingdom and Switzerland you first see Google's certified consent form (User Messaging Platform, IAB TCF) with the options Consent, Do not consent and Manage options; the full list of advertising partners is shown in the form. On iOS you are then asked whether the app may track you (App Tracking Transparency, ATT). Ads are personalised only with your consent; on iOS the advertising identifier (IDFA) is available only if you also allow tracking. If you decline, Google shows non-personalised or limited ads. The games remain fully playable. Outside the EEA, the United Kingdom and Switzerland no consent form is shown; there, ads may be personalised in line with Google's policies — on iOS only if you allow tracking.

The advertising SDK is started and ads are requested only after you have entered your age and the consent step has been completed.

Ad content

Ad content is limited by age: under 13 to ads for general audiences, from 13 to 17 to ads suitable with parental guidance, from 18 to ads suitable for teenagers. Sensitive categories — including gambling and social casino games, dating, sexual content, alcohol and weight loss — are blocked for all players.

Data processed (by Google): IP address, approximate location derived from it, device-related identifiers (iOS: Identifier for Vendor and, only if you allow tracking, the advertising identifier IDFA; Android: App Set ID and advertising ID), device type, operating system, language, app version, information about ads shown and clicked, performance and crash diagnostics, your consent choice (TC string) and the age flags described above.

Purposes: serving ads, personalising ads (only for players aged 16 and older, with consent), frequency capping, ad measurement and reporting, fraud and abuse prevention, error analysis.

Legal bases: storing and accessing information on your device: your consent under Sec. 25(1) TDDDG. Further processing, including personalisation: your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. For some purposes the consent form also lists the legitimate interest of Google and its partners under the IAB TCF (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR); these settings are switched on by default, and you can object to them at any time under Manage options. Storing your consent choice is based on Art. 6(1)(c) in conjunction with Art. 7(1) GDPR. Your tracking permission on iOS is managed by the operating system; you can change it at any time under Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

Withdrawal. You can withdraw or change your consent at any time with effect for the future in each app's settings (the exact menu item is listed per game in section 10). This does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal (Art. 7(3) GDPR).

Responsibility. Google processes the data listed above as an independent controller.

International transfers. Google may transfer data to Google LLC in the USA. Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (European Commission adequacy decision of 10 July 2023, Art. 45 GDPR); Google also uses EU Standard Contractual Clauses (Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR).

Retention. Your consent choice is stored on your device until you change it or delete the app; Google may ask again periodically. Google's retention periods apply to data processed by Google: policies.google.com/technologies/retention.

More information: policies.google.com/privacy and policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

5. In-app purchases

All three games offer the optional purchase “No Ads” (what it removes is described per game in section 10). DOPAMIN, Nova Jump and Nova Defence also offer optional cosmetic purchases that change only the look of the game and give no gameplay advantage: a monthly Season Pass in all three games and, in DOPAMIN, a Starter Pack and two look packs. All of them are one-time, non-consumable purchases (no subscriptions). Players under 13 are offered only “No Ads”. The product IDs are listed per game in section 10.

Purchases are processed by Apple (Apple Distribution International Ltd., Hollyhill Industrial Estate, Hollyhill, Cork, Ireland) or Google (Google Ireland Limited, address above) via your account with them. We do not receive payment data. The app only receives confirmation that the purchase was made and stores this locally (section 3). From Apple or Google we receive only aggregated sales reports without names. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of a contract). Apple's and Google's privacy policies apply to their processing.

6. No automated decision-making

We do not carry out automated decision-making, including profiling, within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right of access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and the right to withdraw consent at any time (Art. 7(3)).

Right to object (Art. 21 GDPR): where processing is based on legitimate interests, you may object at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation — in the apps via the privacy options.

As we receive no data about you and cannot identify you (Art. 11 GDPR), we can usually only answer access or erasure requests by confirming that we hold no data. You can delete your local progress yourself (in the app's settings, or by deleting the app). For data processed by Google, please contact Google (Google privacy contact form).

Right to lodge a complaint (Art. 77 GDPR): you may lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the Member State of your habitual residence. The authority competent for us is:

Der Landesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz und die Informationsfreiheit Baden-Württemberg
Heilbronner Straße 35, 70191 Stuttgart, Germany

8. Children and young people

Children's safety matters to us. The apps ask for your age on first launch (section 4). Players under 16 never see personalised ads, and Google is told that they are under the age of consent; players under 13 are also marked as children, and ad content is limited by age. Players under 16 are not shown a consent form; in the EEA, the United Kingdom and Switzerland they see only limited ads. The apps are not primarily directed at children; the games are fully playable at any age. Paid cosmetic items are not offered to players under 13; they only see “No Ads” (section 5).

9. Changes

We will update this privacy policy if the apps or the legal situation change. The version linked in the app applies.

10. Details per game

DOPAMIN

Stored on your device: scores and records, coins, unlocked modes, songs and items, statistics, daily challenge and calendar progress, your age (if entered — used only to choose the ad settings described in section 4, never sent), the status of the “No Ads” purchase and your settings (sound, music, vibration, reminders, language). The data is kept in the app's local storage and mirrored in the operating system's app storage (iOS: UserDefaults; Android: SharedPreferences), using keys that start with dopamin-. Also stored: the curves of your ghost races, song stars and records, Season Pass progress, the packs you have bought and the daily counters for rewarded ads. These stay on your device and, if iCloud sync is on, are also kept in your own iCloud account (see below). Your age is also used to hide paid cosmetic items from players under 13.

iCloud sync (iPhone/iPad): if “Sync with iCloud” is on (Settings → Account; on by default), a copy of your game progress (scores, coins, cosmetics, goals — not your settings, age or ad consent) is stored in your own iCloud account using Apple's iCloud Key-Value Store, so it comes back on a new device or after reinstalling. This copy is held by Apple under your Apple Account; we cannot access it and it never reaches a server of ours. You can turn syncing off at any time, and “Delete all my data” also deletes the iCloud copy. See Apple's privacy policy: apple.com/legal/privacy.

Share card: the image of your result is drawn on your device and leaves it only if you share it yourself through the system share sheet.

Reminders: if you allow notifications, the app schedules reminder notifications locally on your device. No push server is involved and no data is sent. You can switch reminders off in the app or in your device's settings.

Vibration: the app uses the device's vibration motor; no data is processed for this.

Privacy options: Settings → Privacy & data → Consent settings (shown where consent applies). Delete data: Settings → Privacy & data → Delete all my data removes progress, settings, your age and ad consent from the device.

Game Center (iOS): if you are signed in to Apple Game Center, your best score per mode, your best Daily Challenge score and your achievements are sent to Apple to show leaderboards and achievements. Apple processes this under its own privacy policy; you can sign out in the iOS settings under Game Center.

“No Ads”: removes all ads. No ad requests are made at all, the age question and the consent form are not shown, and rewards that are otherwise unlocked by watching an ad are granted without one.

Purchase IDs: net.berkeyildirim.dopamin.noads; Season Pass: net.berkeyildirim.dopamin.pass.YYYYMM (one per month); Starter Pack: net.berkeyildirim.dopamin.starter; look packs: net.berkeyildirim.dopamin.look.siber, net.berkeyildirim.dopamin.look.altin.

Nova Jump

Stored on your device (WebView “localStorage”, keys starting with orbit_): scores and records (best score, most planets, the “ghost” of your best run), gold, owned themes, trails and looks, level and statistics, achievements, guardian and mode records, the daily challenge, daily missions and your streak, tutorial progress, the status of your purchases, the counters that space out ads (runs since the last interstitial, rewarded ads used today) and shop trials, your age (if you entered it; used only for the ad settings in section 4 and to hide the Season Pass under 13, and never sent anywhere) and your settings (sound, music, vibration, notifications, language).

“No Ads”: removes all ads in Nova Jump: there are no interstitial ads, and rewards that otherwise need an ad are granted without one. From then on the app makes no ad requests: it does not ask for your age and shows neither Google's consent form nor the tracking request (ATT).

Season Pass: an optional purchase for the current calendar month that adds cosmetic items only (no gameplay advantage). It is not offered to players under 13. Like “No Ads”, it is sold by Apple through the App Store (iPhone/iPad) or by Google through Google Play (Android), which handle payment and the purchase; we receive no payment details and the purchase adds no data beyond what is listed above. Which seasons you own is stored on your device and can be restored with Settings → Restore purchases.

Notifications: only if you allow them, the app schedules local reminders on your phone (your streak is about to end, new daily missions). They are created and shown by the device itself; nothing is sent to us or to any server. Turn them off in Settings → Notifications or in the iOS settings.

Vibration: the app uses the device's vibration motor; no data is processed for this.

Game Center (iOS): if you are signed in to Apple Game Center, your best score, your most planets, your daily-challenge result, your best result in each mode (including how many guardians you have beaten) and your achievements are sent to Apple to show leaderboards and achievements. Apple processes this under its own privacy policy; you can sign out in the iOS settings under Game Center.

iCloud sync (iOS): if you are signed in to iCloud and Settings → Privacy & data → Sync with iCloud is on (it is on by default), your game progress is also kept in your own iCloud account (Apple's iCloud key-value storage), so it carries over to your other devices and to a new iPhone: scores and records (including the ghost), gold, owned themes, trails and looks, level and statistics, achievements, guardian and mode records, missions, your streak, the daily challenge and your selected mode and theme. Your settings, language, age, the ad counters and the status of your purchases stay on the device. The data goes to Apple, never to us; Apple processes it under its own privacy policy. Turn the switch off to stop syncing. Delete my data deletes the iCloud copy as well.

Sharing: when you tap Share, the app creates an image of your result as a temporary file on your device and opens the system share sheet. What you share, and with whom, is your choice.

Support and more games: Settings → Support opens your email app with a message to support@berkeyildirim.net; we only receive what you send. Settings → Games lists our other games; their links open berkeyildirim.net in your browser.

Privacy options: Settings → Privacy & data → Privacy options (shown where consent applies, for players aged 16 and older). Delete your data: Settings → Privacy & data → Delete my data (tap twice). This erases all game data and settings, including your age and the iCloud copy, and cancels scheduled reminders; only the status of your purchases is kept (it would be restored from the store anyway). The app then asks for your age again. Your choice in Google's consent form is reset as well, so the form is shown again where consent applies. The tracking permission (ATT) is an iOS setting the app cannot reset; change it in the iOS settings. Deleting the app removes everything.

Purchase IDs: net.berkeyildirim.novajump.noads; Season Pass: net.berkeyildirim.novajump.pass.YYYYMM (one per month).

Nova Defence

Stored on your device (WebView “localStorage”, keys starting with nd_): scores and records, in-game currency (“credits”), level and experience points, statistics of your last 20 runs, unlocked milestones, upgrades and looks, campaign progress and stars, the status of the “No Ads” purchase, the progress of the daily calendar and daily tasks, the number of rewarded ads watched today (at most 10 per day) and a pending start bonus, your age, and your settings (sound, music, vibration, auto-wave, language). Also stored: a running cosmetic trial, the day you last collected the daily data pack and the status of iCloud sync. Also: your streak and backups, archives (earned and opened), Season Pass progress and which seasons you own.

iCloud sync (iPhone/iPad): if Settings → Sync with iCloud is on (on by default), a copy of your game progress (credits, records, level, upgrades and looks, campaign stars, mode records, daily tasks and calendar, streak, archives and season progress — not your settings, your age, ad counters or the purchase status) is stored in your own iCloud account using Apple's iCloud Key-Value Store, so it comes back on a new device or after reinstalling. This copy is held by Apple under your Apple Account; we cannot access it and it never reaches a server of ours. You can turn syncing off at any time; Reset progress also deletes the iCloud copy. See Apple's privacy policy: apple.com/legal/privacy.

“No Ads”: removes all ads. No ad requests are made at all, the age question, Google's consent form and the tracking request (ATT) are not shown, and rewards that are otherwise unlocked by watching an ad are granted without one (within the same daily limits).

Vibration: the app uses the device's vibration motor; no data is processed for this.

Support: Settings → Support opens your email app with a message to support@berkeyildirim.net; we only receive what you send.

Game Center (iOS): if you are signed in to Apple Game Center, your best score, your furthest wave and your achievements are sent to Apple to show leaderboards and achievements. Apple processes this under its own privacy policy; you can sign out in the iOS settings under Game Center.

Privacy options: Settings → Privacy & data → Privacy options (shown where consent applies, for players aged 16 and older). Delete progress: Settings → Privacy & data → Reset progress (tap twice) deletes your progress, your age and your choice in Google's consent form (the form is shown again where consent applies); the purchase status and settings are kept. The tracking permission (ATT) is an iOS setting the app cannot reset; change it in the iOS settings. Deleting the app removes everything.

Which seasons you own is stored on your device and can be restored with SHOP → SYSTEM → Restore purchases.

Product IDs: net.berkeyildirim.novadefence.noads; Season Pass: net.berkeyildirim.novadefence.pass.YYYYMM (one per month).
